Hemp for Victory

Food, fiber, fuel, jobs, security, wealth, and freedom. These are all words that describe hemp.

At the dawn of civilization, this plant was already critical to shaping the best parts of human history. Today, competition, profit, control, and fear have diminished this thriving industry and like many other short-term decisions, the world today is seeing the long-term impact.

It worth note that while almost everything has increased in price, cannabis has remained relatively stable. The data indicates the simple reason is its largely grown, processed, and consumed in-state. Imagine if other goods, especially food, was largely manufactured or grown near the point of consumption. How would this impact the price or the quality? How would this impact the jobs and the related industry.

The last World War was won with hemp as an ally. One of Nature’s many wonders, hemp can sequester carbon dioxide four times faster than trees, and when harvested annually, can build homes, feed livestock, produce energy for our homes, and in general serve as the material with which a clean and peaceful world can be weaved together, creating an enduring legacy for generations to come.
